Samantha still made it work. What I liked most about working with Samantha was her ability to temper our conversation to match the ongoing situation. When discussing what I wanted or when touring homes, Samantha was always calm, friendly, and resourceful. House hunting is a stressful experience, and I liked that I never felt pressured to like any of the homes she picked us to tour. If/when I didn’t like a place, Samantha seemed most interested in why, if only to better tune her senses for what I would like. But when it did come time to bid and close, she became almost general-like, explaining the evolving situation and offering me options and advice asap. Seeing how focused and engaged she was during the very tense closing process made it obvious to me how competitive Bay Area house buying really is. It also made me really, really glad I hired someone as talented as her to be my agent. And we did close. I love my home in Alameda.
